Event>> Extreme Speed Track Event @ Streets of Willow pt I

I headed out to Willow Springs once again with some of my fellow photographers to catch some action at Streets of Willow hosted by Extreme Speed Track events.

Once we settled in, I got right to shooting. While everyone was inside the main building for the drivers meeting; I figured I walk around and see what kind of cars came out today. Spotted these two Miata’s ready to go.

Parked right next time the was this clean panda schemed GTI. Don’t underestimate it on the track for one bit.

I came out with some of my s2000 buddies. Ameer, who was invited to be an instructor that day came out in his laguna blue AP2, and Sonny came out to the track for his first time with his yellow AP1 with widened fenders. A car feature should be coming soon!

S2000′s are a very popular choice of car out at the track. Quick out of the factory and very reliable.

Nissan 370z anxiously waiting to get out to the track; this will be my first time seeing this car on the track. I’m curious to see how it does on the track..

Even the old cars still come out to play. A rare treat to see a clean stock body e30 around these days.

This car was so clean I had to take another snap of it. I love e30′s lines and the simplicity of the car.

Corvettes are regular at the track. Trying to prove that v8 domestic power.

There were a lot of BMWs that came out that day. From old to new, like this brand new M6 ready to rock…

Some more BMW love, next to the M6 was this M5 and in the background was the e30. Last minute preparations are taken care of to make sure the car is ready to go.

A good amount of Evo’s also were in attendance. Snapped a shot of this Evo cooling down after a session. Two sets of wheels/tires are always common with the community who track their cars. Some daily wheels with some all season tires and wide wheels with grippy tires for the track.

Just another day out at the track for these guys with their STi waiting for its turn out on the track.. Nothing beats spending the whole Sunday at the track.

I caught this Miata in the morning warming up..Too bad it was loaded back on the trailor before it had a chance to go on the track. Some mechanical problems probably came up and did not let this beast miata have some fun.

This concludes part one of the coverage.. From the pits to the hot pits its time to see some cars in action! Stay tuned until next time!
